Kay's Virtual Office offers proofreading and copy editing services charged at a per page rate--so clients know exactly what they are paying for upfront. 

Basic Proofreading & Editing Service

If you have a first draft of your document prepared that needs only basic proofing for spelling mistakes, typos, punctuation, capitalization errors, and awkward grammar.

This service is charged at a rate of:  $4.00 per page

Advanced Proofreading & Copy Editing Service

This service includes all basic proofreading services noted above.  In addition, your document will be proofread (and edited) for general sentence structure, word choice, redundancies, inconsistencies in narrative voice, clarity, etc.  This service also includes any necessary copy editing to improve the overall format, style, and layout of your document. 

This service is charged at a rate of:  $6.00 per page

Extensive Proofreading, Copy Editing, & Rewriting Service

If your document requires more aggressive editing and extensive rewriting, Kay's Virtual Office will give your document the necessary overhaul it needs.  This service includes all advanced proofreading and copy editing services noted above, as well as, extensive rewriting (as needed) to improve and enhance the overall readability and professionalism of your document. 

This service is charged at a rate of:  $10.00 per page

In addition to each of the services above, Kay's Virtual Office will include all necessary changes and/or suggestions to font, type size, layout, spacing, and any other necessary adjustments needed to enhance the overall layout and professionalism of your document.

Additional Fees

If a client requests additional editing and revisions to the final document after job completion, a fee of $2.50 per page will be charged for this service. 

There is a minimum charge of $25 for all proofreading & copy editing services.

Consultation

Your business is very important to me, therefore, Kay's Virtual Office will work closely with each client to ensure your satisfaction and that all your expectations are met.  All projects include free consultation by phone to ensure all stated requirements and instructions are understood between both parties before project begins.  Follow-up consultations may be needed if a project requires several drafts.
